The recipes and cooking techniques used in our restaurants have been refined and perfected over 4 generations, dating back to Baby Jack's great-grandparents' first restaurant, which opened in 1966!  Fast forward to 2012, and the first Baby Jack's location opened in the Memphis suburb of Bartlett, TN by Baby Jack's parents, Will & Cortney Clem, and their friend Barry Smith.  The co-founders are scientists and engineers with a love of the Memphis BBQ tradition.  Our cooking style is a blend of traditional and scientific cooking principles.    

We invite you to stop by either location to hang out with us and sample today's batch of hickory-smoked pork bbq, beef brisket, or smoked chicken.  Take home a Family Pack through our drive-thru window, or give us a call anytime you're planning a big party!  

We've received our share of awards, including the Reader's Choice Award for "Best BBQ & Ribs" (Bartlett Express Newspaper) and the "Nugget's Best Nachos" award (voted by the listeners of 107.5FM radio station).  We generally rely on word of mouth for advertising, so if you are a fan of our work, please send some of your neighbors our way and help us carry on this great Memphis tradition!
